As a special teacher, you will work together with the school's student health team and management.

With us, you will identify, analyze, and participate in preventive work to eliminate barriers and difficulties in various learning environments.

You will participate in the work of establishing, following up, and evaluating action programs in collaboration with students, guardians, and staff. You will support students and develop the learning environments of the organization.

You will work in a supportive, guiding, and advisory role in pedagogical matters for colleagues, guardians, and students.

The position is temporary but may potentially lead to an extension.

Who are you?

You are a qualified special teacher and preferably have experience working with the older part of primary school.

We are looking for an independent and knowledgeable special teacher with a strong commitment to the development of students, yourself, and the school.

You have a positive outlook, enjoy challenges, and have many ideas. You focus on the student and their learning process both as an individual and in a group.

You are a person with a very good ability to build relationships. The position requires a highly skilled educator and preferably a qualified special teacher with a very good ability to adapt and meet students who are facing difficulties.

You should share the values and approaches described in our employee and leadership policy.

About us

The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, high schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and staff succeed. Our shared vision is: Everyone should be able to become their best.

Bjärnums School is a K-9 school, which, together with Mala School, forms a principal area. Bjärnums School has about 400 students in grades K-6 and 190 students in grades 7-9. There is a student health team around K-6 and one around 7-9. The management consists of a principal and two vice principals. We work with continuous professional development for teachers and strive to have teams that collaborate closely around the students in a grade, just so they really have the opportunity to become their best.

The school is located about a 15-minute drive north of Hässleholm. There are also good train and bus connections to Bjärnum, where the school is within walking distance from the station.
