JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a new employee within LSS in Sjöbo municipality.

As a support assistant, you will meet the individual needs of customers for care, nursing, and service. You will assist customers with daily tasks such as personal care, cooking, shopping, cleaning, and social activities. You will perform your work in a respectful and professional manner in collaboration with your team and in close contact with our customers. This also means working for good cooperation with relatives and other professional groups.

Together with the customer and their representatives, you will establish implementation plans and evaluate and revise these. The work also includes medical tasks delegated by licensed personnel and documentation in our operational system LifeCare.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have:

• education in behavioral science, care, or pedagogy.
• experience with NPF diagnoses.
• experience working with clarifying pedagogy.
• knowledge and practice of a low-arousal approach.

It is important that you have a pedagogical and solution-focused approach with the customer's interests and wishes in focus. You should be able to work independently, plan, organize, and follow up on your work.

For us, a professional approach towards customers, relatives, and other partners is important. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.

We work based on a salutogenic approach to create meaningfulness, manageability, and comprehensibility in everyday life with clarifying pedagogy as a method. Since computers are used as a working tool, you should have good computer skills. You should have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as communication and documentation are part of the job.

We offer full-time positions to all permanent support assistants, with the option to choose a lower employment rate. We apply ongoing selection.
