Job Responsibilities

Do you want to work at a place where you make a difference every day? Personal assistance is looking for summer substitutes for a role that involves providing support and service in daily life to individuals with disabilities. As a personal assistant, you provide support and service based on the users' decided interventions; therefore, the tasks may vary among different users.

Tasks as a personal assistant include, for example:

• activities inside or outside the home
• personal care and hygiene
• preparation for or support during meals
• delegated healthcare tasks
• social documentation

The interventions aim to promote the user's integrity, self-determination, and participation in society according to the intentions of the LSS law. You will collaborate with the user's network, other staff, and other partners.

The personal assistance service operates 24/7, which means that work is ongoing around the clock on both weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are over 18 years old and have completed and approved high school education, preferably from the health and social care program or the child and leisure program. If you are currently studying at a university or college or vocational training in areas such as disability studies, pedagogy, social work, or behavioral science, we encourage you to apply.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with individuals with disabilities and knowledge of LSS.

You must be able to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

We are looking for someone who has a professional demeanor, is attentive, and carries out your tasks with the user in focus. You also need to have good collaboration skills, be responsible, and take initiative.

Our operations are within LSS, social psychiatry, personal assistance, guides, and respite care, as well as health and medical care. We also care for severely ill children at home.
