Sydassistans is looking for a personal assistant for a 38-year-old woman living in Malmö.

We are looking for someone who is calm, flexible, positive, and can contribute to making our client's

everyday life meaningful. We are looking for someone who can work during the day, evenings, and weekends. 

The client requires assistance around the clock due to her disabilities.

The woman has an intellectual disability, autism, and suffers from difficult-to-treat epilepsy.

She has no verbal language and communicates by showing and pointing. Therefore, you need

to help her interpret and understand in various contexts.

The assistance involves helping with everything from personal hygiene, daily routines in the household

such as cleaning, cooking, shopping, accompanying her to medical appointments, walks, or similar.

As an applicant, you should have a genuine interest in helping other people. As

a personal assistant, you must be flexible, as the job means helping another

person live their life in their own way. We want you to be attentive, positive, and reliable.

We prefer that you have previous experience working with people with autism and

experience in epilepsy.

Sydassistans AB has been providing personal assistance to people with disabilities in southern Sweden since its inception in 1994. One of our tasks as an assistance provider is to be the employer of our clients' personal assistants. We work to ensure that our clients, despite their disabilities, can live as good and fulfilling lives as possible. Currently, we employ approximately 350 personal assistants.

Sydassistans follows the collective agreement for personal assistants signed by Fremia and Kommunal.
