Job Responsibilities

Do you want to work a summer job at a place where you make a difference every day?

Don't hesitate to apply for this exciting job with us. In daily activities, you will activate and guide users with intellectual disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injury in their daily activities. Your role as an activity leader involves close work with users, participating in everyday tasks alongside them. Care tasks based on the user's support needs will occur.

Together with other staff, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities in the organization.

You will contribute to creating meaning and security where the activities are shaped according to the users' abilities, interests, and needs. Your tasks will also include documentation, both individually and together with other staff.

You will work within one of our 80 daily activities in Malmö based on the needs of the organizations for summer substitutes. We have the greatest need during July and August, so we hope you can work then.

During the summer period, you may need to work in more than one organization.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is over 18 years old and has completed and approved high school education, preferably from the health and care program or the child and leisure program. If you are currently studying at a university or college or YH in areas such as disability, pedagogy, social work, or behavioral science, we encourage you to apply for a job with us.

Experience working within LSS and with individuals with autism and/or significant intellectual disabilities is an advantage. We also prefer that you have experience with clear pedagogical methods or AAC (alternative and augmentative communication) and challenging behavior.

You must be computer literate and able to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

If you have a B driver's license, that is an advantage.

It is important to us that you have a good view of humanity, a respectful approach, and good pedagogical skills. Since the concept of “together” permeates our work, you need to be able to collaborate well with others. You must be flexible, attentive, and creative. As you meet many different users and colleagues, high demands are placed on social agility, flexibility, independence, and self-assurance. You are good at handling stress and can adapt to rapid changes and altered conditions.
