RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves providing practical, social, and pedagogical support within our operations, which include LSS housing, short-term supervision, short-term stays, and daily activities.

In your role as a support assistant, you will engage, encourage, and motivate individuals to participate in their daily lives. This is done with respect for the individual's self-determination and based on established action plans. During the period, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and receive support from experienced staff. In some tasks, you will also work with health and medical care interventions by delegation.

The work may involve irregular working hours during days, evenings, and nights on a schedule, both weekdays and weekends during the vacation period from June to August.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education and/or experience in care and support, but those with other fields of study or experiences are also welcome to apply. You have a genuine interest and curiosity about working with people with various disabilities.

You should have good communication skills, be responsible, and have an easy time collaborating. In this role, you will work with the individual in focus, so it is important that you are attentive, able to take initiative, and have a good attitude. Since the work involves communication and documentation, you need to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing and have computer skills.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. To work within LSS operations, two approved extracts from the criminal record are required. The extracts must be presented before employment can be offered.
