Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a social educator to be placed in grade 2. The tasks involve being active in the student group during school hours as well as during after-school activities. You will support and motivate students, both at group and individual levels. You will also have special responsibility for the values education work in the student group.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a post-secondary education as a social educator from either folk high school, vocational college, qualified vocational training, or university. Experience working as a social educator or in a similar role is an advantage.

Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting, is also considered an asset. Furthermore, you should have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to apply them in daily work.

Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards building good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

Elinelund School is located in a developing district in the southern parts of Malmö. We are close to exciting nature next to the limestone quarry, and our learning environments create good conditions for teaching and learning. The school is newly built with modern facilities, including workrooms for staff and group rooms for all home classrooms. The school is a K-9 school with approximately 730 students.
