The Individual and Family Unit (IFO), which belongs to the Social Sector, is undergoing a transformation to meet the new Social Services Act. The transformation affects the entire sector, but the current focus is on the IFO area. Within IFO, there are the units of Investigation & Follow-up, Integration & Welfare, the Authority Unit (SoL/LSS), and Open Interventions. Thus, IFO covers both the individual and the system, which is a strength in our work and in meeting the new Social Services Act.

The Open Interventions unit continues to expand, build, and shape its operations to better meet citizens where they need us.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a family therapist, you will work with qualified change work aimed at children, adolescents, adults, and families in vulnerable situations. We work with a salutogenic approach where the operations are characterized by a systemic perspective, and you will vary your working methods between pure conversational methodology, manual-based methods, and more practical-pedagogical work at clients' homes; therefore, home visits to clients are a given part of the job. You need to be comfortable leading group activities aimed at different target groups, either alone or with a colleague. Your assignments will focus on the individual and/or family and its system or network, and you need to be skilled at collaborating with other actors around the individual/family. You have the ability to coordinate and drive various processes from a holistic perspective. The support offered depends on the needs present. Flexibility in your daily work is a prerequisite for working as a therapist in Svalöv Municipality, so you may sometimes need to be on-site early in the morning and/or later in the afternoon/evening.

You will work closely with your colleagues in Open Interventions and with colleagues in the other three units within IFO. The unit currently consists of four family therapists, two substance abuse therapists, two psychiatric supervisors, and one social advisor. You will be part of a group where we together continue to build and create a unit that aligns with the needs of our citizens and in line with the new upcoming Social Services Act. You will have a manager who works with trust-based governance and leadership and who provides you with the conditions to take responsibility within given frameworks.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, from 08:00 to 16:30. Please note that the job requires flexibility and that some evening and weekend work may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying are a social worker or have another relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Further education in the field is desirable, preferably system-theoretical education or other manual-based methods aimed at conducting change work. Examples of desirable training and methods include rePULSE, CAP, Active Parenting, PYC, COS-P, ATV, Trappan, MI, work with VINR (Violence in Close Relationships), among others. It is also meritorious if you have knowledge of and/or competence in working with mental health issues aimed at adult citizens. Documented experience of previous treatment work in municipal outpatient care is meritorious. You are skilled at building relationships with clients, clients' representatives, and partners, and you have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. As a person, you are empathetic and can quickly understand someone else's perspective or situation while maintaining a good ability to contain emotions. You are good at structuring and prioritizing your work and can see opportunities in changes. Furthermore, you are creative and often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues and have the ability to implement these.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
