Do you have a degree in social work or other relevant education and experience in social work? Do you want to make a difference in the fight against sexual exploitation and human trafficking? We are now looking for two dedicated employees for Evonhuset in Malmö city.

Job Responsibilities

As a regional coordinator against prostitution and human trafficking, you will work to support and strengthen regional actors in the fight against human trafficking and prostitution. The work includes support in individual cases, consultation and advice to authorities and organizations, preventive measures through capacity-building activities such as training and lectures, as well as outreach activities together with, for example, the Police Authority. You will collaborate in national and regional networks and contribute to a comprehensive approach in the field.

The position is part of Malmö city and is organizationally placed within Evonhuset. However, the assignment differs from Evonhuset's regular activities as you will work with a mandate from the Gender Equality Agency and operate throughout the South region, which includes Blekinge, Kalmar, Kronoberg, and Skåne counties.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other relevant education and a B driver's license, as well as excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You have experience working with victims of violence or in related fields and have a good ability to collaborate with various actors and organizations. Experience in combating human trafficking and prostitution, providing consultative support to authorities and organizations, and expertise in training and lecturing is an advantage. Additional language skills are also a merit.

Evonhuset is Malmö city's specialist operation for issues related to sex for compensation, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation. Our activities are an important part of the city's efforts to protect and support vulnerable individuals while working to prevent and combat these issues. Here, we collaborate closely with actors such as the Police Authority, social services, the Migration Agency, and non-profit organizations to create a safer city for everyone.
