Do you want an exciting and meaningful job? The Authority and Social Psychiatry Department, Children Unit 1 of the Support Services Administration in Malmö City is now looking for dedicated employees who want to make a difference for our users.

A common aspect of all work within social psychiatry is to meet each user individually based on their needs. As an employee with us, you provide support and service based on individual implementation plans with support measures that stem from the user's personal wishes to promote their integrity and participation in decisions. Furthermore, you support individuals by accompanying them to various social activities.

You collaborate with the user's network, other staff, and other partners such as INM, outpatient care both within RPK and the psychosis unit.

We work in teams and document in the documentation system Lifecare.

Your role also includes actively working with recovery and MI.

We work preventively regarding our work environment through SAM, systematic work environment management. We systematically follow the goals and develop as an organization based on long-term and short-term goals that we have built together based on our LSS mission.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed and approved high school education, preferably from the health and care program or another education that the employer considers equivalent.

For the position of support pedagogue, post-secondary education is required that includes at least 200 YH points or 60 higher education credits in the field of social care, psychiatry, disabilities, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent or comparable.

We prefer candidates with experience in social psychiatry and/or working with individuals with substance abuse issues. You should have an interest or experience in working with people with physical or intellectual disabilities.

The following are considered meritorious:

• MI training and/or training in recovery
• Previous experience supporting individuals with psychotic disorders and/or substance abuse.
• Knowledge/experience regarding cognitive disabilities.
• Previous experience with the target group or other experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• Previous experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities.

It is essential that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

About the Workplace

Our operations belong to the Authority & Social Psychiatry Department Unit 1 within the Support Services Administration. The operations offer support for recovery and are based on values such as self-determination, participation, and development potential. The individuals living in the residences have been granted the service of housing with special support according to LSS 9 § 9 for adults and short-term homes for adults with various disabilities according to LSS 9 § 6. The residences are staffed around the clock. The operations follow, in addition to the LSS Act, Malmö City's own LSS plan and politically governed effect goals.

In the Support Services Administration, over 3000 employees work together to create and develop even better support and service for individuals with disabilities. Our operations are within LSS, social psychiatry, personal assistance, guides, and respite care. Severely ill children receiving care at home are also part of our mission.
