At Sus's communication unit, our mission is to create value for patients, relatives, employees, and managers through communication. The editorial and healthcare communication unit works to develop and coordinate the hospital's patient communication, editorial work, as well as social media and film production. Within the unit, you will be part of the team working with patient communication. We belong to the Corporate Communication Department in Region Skåne, where we work closely with other healthcare administrations on operational communication within health and medical care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work on developing and supporting our healthcare operations in their patient communication. Together with colleagues, you will work operationally with various communication activities and also strategically, for example, analyzing the needs of patients and visitors.

You need to thrive in a producer role, writing texts and working with graphic design, as well as collaborating with many different parts of the organization within your assignments. You enjoy collaborating with other support functions to collectively improve patient communication and create a better experience for patients and relatives. You have an ability to listen to the needs of the organization and propose solutions based on current guidelines and strategies.

Concrete tasks in the role may include producing texts that describe to patients how various examinations and treatments are conducted, designing simpler printed materials, writing scripts for patient information films, updating and publishing information on the web, providing advice and support, as well as training for healthcare operations in patient communication issues, and coordinating and implementing development assignments within patient communication together with your colleagues.

You will be part of the patient communication team, but in your role, you will collaborate extensively with other colleagues within the communication unit, healthcare operations, and other support functions.

The place of employment is Lund, although work occurs in both Lund and Malmö.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in communication or equivalent education that the employer deems comparable.

We want you to:

• express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• be a good writer with a strong ability to write different types of texts and tailor them to target groups.
• have experience in design using Adobe InDesign.

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience in writing clear language.
• experience in web publishing in CMS tools.

Furthermore, we see you as a person who enjoys working in a team and collaborating with many different organizations. You are attentive with a good demeanor, have a consultative approach, and are good at understanding others' needs. You can find solutions both individually and together with others and can work in a structured manner even when there is a lot happening at once. We believe that personality and drive are just as important as experience.
