The Marketing and Communications Unit for the Department of Regional Development is now seeking a digital communicator responsible for content on the department's website and social media/LinkedIn. The unit is part of the Corporate Communications Office, which is a part of Region Skåne's corporate headquarters. We are seven employees and a unit manager with expertise in areas such as graphic design, strategic and operational communication, and international marketing.

The Department of Regional Development acts as a driving force and unifying power for the development of Skåne and is tasked with promoting development, sustainable growth, and employment for all of Skåne based on political decisions. The department is divided into nine units that work in areas such as investment promotion, skills supply, infrastructure, innovation, regional planning, environment and health, business development, and social analysis.

The overarching mission of the Corporate Communications Office is to contribute to strengthening Region Skåne's brands through professional communication efforts and to the realization of operational goals, political decisions, and vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you have several years of experience in digital communication and are you an expert in LinkedIn and web communication? Are you also a star at formulating and packaging content that creates engagement? Then you might be the one we are looking for in the Marketing and Communications Unit for Regional Development!

As the content responsible digital communicator, you will work both strategically and operationally to develop, plan, and follow up on content for both the LinkedIn page Region Skåne Development & Innovation and the website utveckling.skane.se. You will work closely with the communication strategists in the unit, employees in regional development, and the chief editor in the communications department. You will lead the work to develop a new strategy for our visibility on LinkedIn that reflects Region Skåne's brand and meets the needs of the organization. The content you create is relevant and engaging, focusing on making complex information easily accessible to our target groups. Through our digital presence, we clarify our development responsibility for Skåne and inspire target groups and stakeholders to engage with our knowledge and support. Digital accessibility and usability are important cornerstones of our communication work. You will work purposefully to drive organic growth as well as engagement and conversion on LinkedIn. You will be responsible for campaign setup as well as analysis and reporting of both paid campaigns and organic content. You will analyze and drive traffic to the website in the ways you deem optimal (for example, through SEO, newsletters, and social media). You play an important role in working purposefully with analysis and optimization of digital channels to ensure they are effective tools for the needs of the target groups and strengthen Region Skåne's brand.

Your expertise will enable us to take the next step in our digital presence and create a clearer picture of Region Skåne's responsibility for regional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in communication and several years of experience as a communicator focusing on web communication and social media from a professional perspective, with particular emphasis on LinkedIn.

You are a skilled writer who has worked editorially with both text and images for the web and have experience working both operationally and strategically with social media. You easily grasp complex information, evaluate it, and then communicate it in an understandable and pedagogical manner.

You are quick to learn new digital tools and are an expert in LinkedIn and content creation for the web. You have good knowledge in planning, executing, and analyzing the outcomes of digital marketing activities. You are an experienced user of SEO, web analytics tools, image editing, and CMS (we use Optimizely). You have knowledge of legal requirements and regulations for web publishing and keep yourself updated on developments in web and social media/LinkedIn. You have good command of Swedish in both speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have an understanding of and experience in the public sector and politically governed organizations.

You are creative and innovative and want to develop with us. You enjoy varied work and can manage your time well, working both operationally and strategically towards set goals. You have a high ability to collaborate while also being able to work independently. The role involves collaboration with many different stakeholders, so your ability to build and maintain relationships is crucial. As a person, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, curious, and trustworthy.

The Corporate Office's mission is to support the regional council, which is responsible for the overall administrative organization in Region Skåne. The Corporate Office's more than 750 employees work on issues related to regional development, public health and environment, healthcare planning, communication, finance, and HR. The Corporate Office's workplaces are primarily located in the Town Hall in Kristianstad and at Dockplatsen in Västra Hamnen in Malmö.
