Adult Psychiatric Reception 2 in Lund is a general psychiatric clinic with about 25 employees. We primarily assess and treat patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, and various forms of personality disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions. The clinic is located in the psychiatry building on Baravägen, where several different psychiatric specialist clinics are also located, as well as our psychiatric emergency care. We are at the forefront of development and work with team-based care. The clinic is well staffed. The staff has high competence, and in the two teams, several doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries work together.
We continuously work on developing care content and systems where you will be involved in creating the future of psychiatry in collaboration with the clinic's various operations and care neighbors. Our clinic is characterized by a safe work environment where we care for each other and have a good time at work!
In the spring of 2024, we underwent a reorganization that resulted in the formation of an administrative unit within the operation. This has meant that the unit includes administrative staff such as administrators and medical secretaries, with a workgroup of about 39 employees. It is important for us to take care of our colleagues, to help each other, and to lift each other in our work tasks. Your placement will primarily be at Adult Psychiatric Reception 2 but also broadly at the Administrative Unit based on where the need is.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for a fourth secretary for our clinic. Three full-time positions are filled with experienced colleagues who look forward to introducing you!
As a medical secretary, you will be offered an interesting job with varied content such as writing medical records, telephone service, appointment booking, as well as patient registration and, to some extent, cash handling. You will also be involved in the development of the clinic's administrative routines. The clinic is currently working to improve information for employees and patients, and you will become an important part of this work.
As a medical secretary, you are an important part of the workgroup, as you ensure that the clinic's administration regarding patients is carried out effectively. You also have a key role in implementing new or updated patient administrative systems. You will work closely with your team to contribute your specific expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying are a trained medical secretary with education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80p (KY) or 400p (YH) or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of medical terminology as well as in the Swedish language in speech and writing. Additionally, you are an experienced computer user, preferably with knowledge of our systems Melior, PASiS/VåPs, and Raindance. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working in psychiatric operations.
We are looking for someone who wants to be our face to the outside world. You have good communication skills, are service-oriented, and want to work to improve both care and operations. Furthermore, we see that you have a sense of responsibility and good collaboration skills. Providing a good reception is important to you, as well as working for a positive work environment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
