We are now welcoming a new colleague as a medical secretary to the Hematology Clinic for Coagulation in Malmö.

The Hematology Clinic for Coagulation is part of the VO Hematology, Oncology, and Radiation Physics. Our unit consists of a coagulation clinic, where we are responsible for individuals with hereditary bleeding disorders of all ages, a hematology clinic where we take care of patients with benign and malignant blood diseases, and an anticoagulation clinic where patients are treated with blood thinners. Our unit includes doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of medical secretary, we offer you a varied job, where you will work with medical record writing, registrations in Pasis, referral management, patient bookings, as well as mail and telephone service. In addition, you will be involved in the development of various areas of responsibility.

In our unit, we are at the forefront of speech recognition (TIK) and we are also facing an exciting period with the implementation of new systems where the role of the medical secretary is evolving, and we welcome you who want to be a part of this and contribute with your skills and qualities to the change process.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an approved education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80p KY or 400p YH, or equivalent approved medical/doctor secretary training. For the position, good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is required, as well as good knowledge of medical terminology. Since we work in Melior, Medspeech, and Pasis, it is an advantage if you have previous experience with these systems. As Region Skåne is transitioning to SDV, it is beneficial if you already have a diagnosis classification training. We welcome both newer and experienced medical secretaries to our team.

As a person, you are structured and meticulous. It is important that you have a good ability to prioritize among your tasks and a willingness to participate in the development of patient administration and workflows at the clinic. We prefer that you are confident in yourself and take responsibility for organizing your work productively. Furthermore, you are flexible and have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Personal suitability is highly valued.
