We are now looking for an HR Administrator for HR Service with a focus on payroll!

In your primary role, you will mainly work with payroll management, employment, working hours, and support for managers and employees in the city of Malmö. You will also work with quality assurance and corrections of salaries.

The target group is Malmö city’s employees, managers, and administrators, but also authorities such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. All communication in the role, both written and spoken, is conducted in Swedish. To succeed, you need to be able to switch between different tasks and prioritize your work. The ability to understand the customer’s needs and provide good service is also important in this role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

Completed Upper Secondary Education
Vocational training/post-secondary education in payroll or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer
At least one year of work experience in the administrative field
Experience in independent work with payroll administration, such as controls, monitoring, certificate writing, and salary corrections.
Good familiarity with personnel administrative systems
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have:

Experience in payroll administration in the personnel system Personec P
Experience in municipal operations
Experience in working with support

About the Workplace

HR Service is Malmö city's centralized operational unit within HR and is part of the common HR function within Malmö city. We are part of the Service Administration with about 2,000 employees. The Service Administration is for all 28,000 employees of the city, and together we work for the city's best. HR Service has four main sections, where the advertised position is located in the section for payroll and pensions.

The Municipal Services have over 600 employees across six different operational areas. These areas are: HR Service; contact center; service trips; cleaning service; internal service; and accounting unit. The mission is to provide qualitative, sustainable, and cost-effective services to Malmö city's administrations and to the residents of Malmö. Municipal Services offer equal service for all, high availability, and professional treatment.

The Service Administration is divided into five departments and offers everything from transport services to IT and responding to citizens in Malmö city's contact center. We maintain streets, parks, green areas, and beaches, manage all of Malmö city's buildings, and ensure that our school students receive good and nutritious food. Together, we are a smart service partner to the city.
