The Eye Care Unit (VE) is part of a joint healthcare area within the fields of dermatology, reproductive medicine, and ophthalmology. The operation, with about 220 employees, is located in Malmö and Lund and is at the forefront of both basic and specialist training for doctors. The Department of Ophthalmology at Lund University conducts extensive research. In addition to the core activities in eye care in Malmö and Lund, we provide regional healthcare for Halland, Kronoberg, and Blekinge. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a medical secretary, you will be offered a dynamic job where you have great freedom to influence your work environment. Here, you will have the opportunity to control your workday. Your tasks include, among other things, writing medical records, providing telephone service, and some reception work. Within the framework of your work, there is the possibility of additional tasks, which gives you the chance to develop and broaden your skills. For example, booking and planning in various teams, being responsible for patient and data security, as well as various projects within the framework of Skåne's Digital Healthcare System (SDV). In the future, there is also the possibility to work from home a few days a week based on the needs of the operation.

We are a group of 15 medical secretaries and 7 administrators who work to maintain high service and availability for both our patients and other colleagues. You have the opportunity to take, for example, classification training to increase your competence.

The role of the medical secretary is evolving, and Region Skåne is preparing for the launch of the comprehensive digital platform SDV, which will replace several of today's medical record systems. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a recognized education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80 p (KY) or 400 p (YH) or equivalent education as a medical secretary. In addition, you have good knowledge of medical terminology and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. It is an advantage for the position if you have knowledge of the systems Melior, Medspeech, Orbit, and Webb-Pasis.
