Job Description We are looking for a Controller for a consulting assignment starting immediately, lasting approximately 3-5 months. 

As a Business Controller at the client, you will act as a local financial manager for a large and complex business area. You will have overall responsibility for financial management and work closely with both area management and central functions. The role requires a holistic view, independence, and strong analytical skills. The work mainly consists of: Financial management and follow-up – closing accounts, budgeting, and forecasting. Analysis and decision support – providing insights that improve profitability, quality, and efficiency. Business and operational development – participating in strategic projects, driving analysis and streamlining. This is a role for you who enjoys having an important role in the organization. You will step into a development phase, where you will have significant influence over how we work and the opportunity to drive improvements that make a real difference going forward.

Qualifications and Characteristics

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in finance, preferably with a focus on accounting, finance, or business administration, and who has several years of experience in qualified financial work, for example as a controller, accounting economist, or similar. You have a good understanding of financial relationships and thrive in a role where you can combine analysis with business acumen.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have excellent skills in Excel and are used to working in business systems and reporting tools, preferably BI tools like Power BI or Qlik. You have a strong interest in business management and see numbers as a tool to understand and influence the business.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and meticulous, but also communicative and collaborative. You easily build trust and enjoy working closely with both the finance department and the business at large. You are self-driven, curious, and push your work forward with commitment and accountability.

If you also have experience from an international environment, group reporting, or IFRS, it is an advantage, as well as an interest in digitalization and process development. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
