About the position We are currently seeking a personal assistant for an active 74-year-old woman living centrally in Hammarby Sjöstad. The position is approximately 37.5%, with the possibility to work during other staff's absence beyond this. Our client has a great interest in culture, food, sports, art, literature, and gardening on her balcony during the summer. The client has aphasia and apraxia following a stroke, which has led to significant difficulties in verbal expression. The tasks include walks, coffee breaks, various household chores, and providing support during medical visits, training, grocery shopping, and cooking. The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Mon-Fri. 

About you As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being. We believe that you, who are applying for this position, are a person who is attentive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as an applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection. Requirements:

• Have experience in personal assistance and/or care,
• Have completed a care-related education,
• Have fluent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written,
• Be non-smoker,
• Not be allergic to pets,
• Can provide a valid extract from your criminal record from the police upon potential employment. 

It is an advantage if you

• Share the client's interests,
• Hold a B driver's license,
• Have experience working with individuals who have aphasia and/or apraxia, or other neurological disabilities following a stroke.

Scope: Part-time, approx. 37.5% with the possibility to step in as needed beyond this.  Number of positions: 1.  Start date: Immediately. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position will be filled as soon as possible.  Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
