Aleris Rehab Station provides specialized neurological rehabilitation in outpatient and inpatient care as well as personal assistance in a beautiful environment in fine and modern premises in Hagaparken, with immediate proximity to Brunnsviken. Our operations are based on the knowledge and experience that Rehab Station has gained after working with neurological rehabilitation since 1987. We are now looking for a social worker for a parental leave position within inpatient care. About us
Aleris Rehab Station is a national and international rehabilitation center. We are located in a large, beautiful building in Frösundavik in Solna, a combination of old barrack buildings, new living rooms, treatment rooms, and a restaurant. We have an extensive research and education operation and a well-developed teamwork.
Within inpatient care, you as a social worker will meet patients with various neurological injuries or diseases, orthopedic injuries, cancer patients, and patients who, after surgical procedures, need interdisciplinary rehabilitation. The teams include, in addition to the social worker; occupational therapist, physiotherapist, rehabilitation instructor, rehabilitation assistant, speech therapist, nurse, nursing assistant, doctor, and psychologist. We have a total of 57 inpatient care beds. At Rehab Station, a total of 8 social workers work in our teams. The Role
As a social worker, you are responsible for psychosocial mapping and treatment work in the form of crisis conversations, processing, reorientation, and motivation as well as contacts with various authorities. Together with the team, coordinate and participate in care planning and review meetings. You are responsible for investigations for e.g. transport services and issuing certificates that support needs such as housing priority or assistance of various kinds. Guidance and information about social legislation and social insurance are included.

About you You have a degree in social work. It is an advantage if you are a licensed health and medical care social worker or have experience in social work within health and medical care and an interest in neurological rehabilitation. As a person, you are secure, flexible, and stable with good self-awareness. You collaborate well in a team while being able to work independently with the ability to prioritize. We expect you to possess good administrative skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment ConditionsThe working hours are scheduled for weekdays during the day. The position is a 10-month parental leave with the possibility of extension starting in February 2026. Scope: 75%. Start date: February 2026 or by agreement. Salary: Individual salary setting. A collective agreement exists.
