JOB DESCRIPTION

We are Gothenburg. Now we need you who want to contribute to making it easier for managers and employees to work at Intraservice! As the unit manager for internal service, you will drive the development of a modern workplace with the service assignment and customer interaction as the highest priority.

About 10 employees work in the unit with assignments in:

• planning, purchasing, security, and agreements related to the physical workplace, meeting rooms, and interior concepts
• projects concerning new premises
• reception, perimeter protection, security, systems, as well as agreements and routines related to access, locks, and alarms
• cleaning, waste sorting, and sanitation, and agreements in these areas
• maintenance, coffee, carpets, plants, and agreements in these areas
• janitorial services
• internal telephony.

Currently, one of two receptions is staffed by security, and cleaning is performed by an external partner. Sustainability is an important issue in all assignments within the unit, linked to the social, ecological, and economic dimensions.

The administration currently operates at three different addresses, but a project is underway to coordinate Intraservice in a common location with the goal of accessing a new modern workplace during 2025-2026.

As a unit manager, you have personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility, report to the department manager for governance and support, and are part of the department's management team. In your work, you will have contact with and collaborate with several internal as well as external functions. You will have a coordinator as support in your daily work, primarily related to local issues.

Interviews are primarily scheduled for February 7, with a possible second interview on February 13. A full-day assessment center for two final candidates will take place either on February 18 or February 20.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in a field we consider relevant to the job, such as facility management. You also have several years of experience as a manager and experience working in a service organization.

You have an interest in and knowledge of physical security, information security, and sustainability issues. If you have experience leading change projects, we see that as an advantage.

To be successful in this managerial position, you work collaboratively and results-oriented, bringing along both employees and partners in the work towards set goals. You can see your work as part of a larger context and understand how it affects and is affected by other parts of the organization or the external environment.

As a person, you are stable, communicative, and structured. You are stimulated by a job where it is expected that you are initiative-taking and responsible, as well as innovative. You have the ability to navigate and plan in a changing organization, and you can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and suggest possible solutions. You can prioritize between short and long term with a strong focus on service.
