ABOUT THE POSITION

Granitor Systems is now seeking a project manager with technical knowledge in electrical engineering and control to lead automation projects. As a project manager, you will primarily drive fixed-price projects within automation. Depending on the size of the projects, you will manage either one or several projects simultaneously, and the size will also determine the time allocation between economics and technology.

The projects can be multidisciplinary with total commitments where you lead several different subcontractors in areas such as electrical/control, installation, mechanics, and hydraulics.

You will have full accountability for results and lead the project from initiation to handover. The role includes building strong customer relationships, ensuring profitable projects, and inspiring and engaging the project team. If you have a broad network and good relationships in the region, that is a plus. You will report to the operations manager in Trollhättan.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation, or has acquired equivalent competence through previous work experience
• Has experience in a similar role where you have worked with or led projects in a comparable industry
• Has a genuine interest in technology
• Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Holds a valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have fluent knowledge of German, both spoken and written.

Good to know

You have the option to work from one of their fixed offices in Gothenburg or Trollhättan, but you will work on projects for the department in Trollhättan. If you are based at the Gothenburg office, regular presence in Trollhättan is expected. There is a competent team of about 40 colleagues, consisting of project managers, designers, automation engineers, programmers, and electricians. In agreement with your immediate supervisor, there is also some possibility for remote work.
