Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Solution Design Engineer for a client in Borås.

As a Solution Design Engineer, you will have the primary responsibility for independently leading projects within solution design. The role means that you will become a specialist in areas such as data analysis, design development, testing, cost estimation, implementation, and the development and presentation of proposals.

You will also be responsible for developing and presenting innovative, effective, and cost-efficient warehousing and distribution solutions in accordance with established standards and timelines. In addition, your job responsibilities will include:

• Initiating and leading the collection and analysis of information from both existing and potential customers.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that proposals and presentations meet customer requirements and expectations.
• Supporting the management team with both internal and external presentations and proposals.
• Conducting operational reviews to ensure that operational and financial approvals are met.
• Ensuring that all design and analysis tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
• Contributing to the success of the team and organization by assisting with contract implementations and other external projects as needed.

Your Profile

Ideal candidate for the position:

• Master's degree or equivalent education in a relevant field such as logistics, industrial economics, computer science, or similar.
• At least 5 years of experience in solution design within logistics or related fields.
• Experience in third-party logistics.
• Documented experience in leading and executing complex projects from start to finish.
• Experience collaborating with customers to identify their needs and create tailored solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics and distribution systems and their design and optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data analysis tools to generate insights and make informed decisions.
• Expertise in cost estimation, budget management, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing improvement methods.
