About the Position

We are currently seeking a Logistics Service Coordinator for our partner WALLENIUS SOL, which operates in shipping and is based in Gothenburg. This role is suitable for you if you have an education in international logistics and have gained a few years of work experience, preferably from a shipping company or as a freight forwarder. As a person, you take initiative, are self-driven, curious, and want to contribute to development projects as well as the business. As a Logistics Service Coordinator, you have a strong sense of service, where you are responsible for delivering the best possible response to customers. You do this by meeting customers' needs regarding the transportation of goods and are responsible for booking cargo on the company's own vessels, with other shipping companies, as well as goods that need to be transported door-to-door. Throughout the process, you ensure that customers are informed about the transports and have received relevant documentation.

Furthermore, you handle invoicing, manage customs documents and related administration, as well as updates regarding prices and routes in the company's business system. You should thrive in a varied environment as you are responsible for continuously receiving incoming calls and managing emails from customers throughout the day. You contribute to the company's common goal of high customer satisfaction by being solution-oriented and responding to each customer in a pedagogical manner.

In summary, you will:

  • Be responsible for bookings in the system
  • Provide customers with relevant information and documentation related to transports
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from customers
  • Manage IMO documents, manifests, customs documents with related registration in the customs system
  • Update relevant information in the business system
  • Handle invoicing
  • Act as a backup for the System Support and Finance departments with invoice coding when needed

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree in international logistics at the university level, or equivalent education in freight forwarding or relevant education
  • Has at least 1-3 years of work experience in a similar role within logistics or freight forwarding, a big plus if you have previously worked at a shipping company
  • Has experience in customs and project cargo is an advantage
  • Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English
  • Has good computer skills and system understanding, experience with CargoWise is an advantage

To succeed in this role, you are a skilled communicator and have good collaboration skills as the role involves managing multiple contact points both externally and internally. Furthermore, you have the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and are flexible in prioritizing tasks based on incoming matters. We would like you to be someone who engages and is not afraid to present new ideas. It is important that you have the ability to drive your own work forward and want to be involved in projects/processes.

About the Employment
