Hydri Solutions AB is now strengthening its team with an automation engineer. You will have a broad and important role in the company with significant responsibility. Hydri Solutions AB has offices and assembly facilities in Gothenburg.

You will be part of the company's engineering team and report to the Head of Projects.

The work involves close collaboration with hardware components and responsibility for the control of process plants in various projects. The current control systems are Siemens-based and are further developed according to customer needs in the projects. You will also have the opportunity to work in other areas where your skills and experience may contribute.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Independent design and programming of Siemens-based PLC systems (S7-1500 series, with associated HMI)
• Work with safety-critical instrument systems according to IEC 61511
• Manage various communication solutions and networks for automation systems
• Integration of sensors, detectors, and 4-20 mA as well as digital signals
• On-site work with commissioning and tuning of systems
• Perform program changes and upgrades of existing control systems

Who are you?

• We believe you have some form of post-secondary education focused on automation, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics, but above all, you have many years of relevant experience
• You have good knowledge of Siemens PLC/HMI programming including Safety PLC modules
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• It is an advantage if you are knowledgeable about cybersecurity issues (NIS2 and IEC 62443) and/or have experience with Siemens firewall (SCALANCE)
• We believe you are a responsible, unpretentious, and communicative person with a solid interest in technology and a desire to learn new things
• You take initiative, are motivated by solving problems, and take pride in the work you do
