About the Role

Are you a developer with a passion for embedded systems and expertise in C/C++? Are you looking for a work environment where you can work with exciting technology and friendly colleagues? AFRY Connected Products in Gothenburg is expanding, and we are looking for more colleagues in Embedded Software who want to help develop the future solutions in areas such as space, defense, medical technology, and manufacturing.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with both hardware-near software development and advanced problem-solving in a company where digitalization and sustainability are at the core. You will be part of an agile team, where experienced and newer colleagues work side by side to create innovative products and systems. We offer a dynamic and varied environment where you will have the chance to work with some of the region's most prominent companies and in projects ranging from concept development to final delivery.

There is also the opportunity to become part of our project organization, Customized Solutions, where we manage projects from start to finish. If the client allows, work can partially be done remotely, giving you additional flexibility in your workday.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in development and several years of experience in software development in C/C++. You have worked with hardware-near programming and appreciate both the technical depth and creativity required to solve complex problems. You thrive in an agile working environment and have experience working in teams with mixed levels of experience, where everyone contributes to creating the best possible solution.

To succeed in this role, we believe you:

• Have several years of experience in hardware-near software development in C/C++.
• Enjoy working in agile teams and are used to working closely with both colleagues and clients.
• Are comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.

We also believe that you are a person who is unpretentious and open to learning from others, while also being willing to share your own experiences. Your personality and willingness to create comfort and collaboration in the group are important to us, as well as your enjoyment of working in an environment where you can contribute technical expertise and problem-solving skills as a consultant.
