Description

We are now looking for an operations technician in water and wastewater management who wants to help provide excellent service to our residents.

As an operations technician, you will work with the operation of the pipeline network in the municipality. You will also handle documentation and follow-up, as well as being an important support within the community development activities.

In the operations unit, we are currently a team of twelve co-leaders working with operations in the municipality. In this small municipality, the tasks are varied, and together we help each other create a safe and well-functioning environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include:

• Leading the continued digitalization of our pipeline network.
• Being responsible for the renewal and maintenance of the pipeline network, such as exercising valves, checking fire hydrants, maintenance flushing, periodic inspections, filming of pipes, etc.
• Completing GIS data regarding the pipeline network and related documentation in Geosecma and ArcMap.
• Providing support to community development activities in connection with the exploitation of new areas.
• Carrying out construction work together with an excavator operator.
• Assisting with other tasks within the operations unit.

As an employee within the water and wastewater management, you will substitute, if needed, at water and sewage treatment plants. On-call duty is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education in water and wastewater management and/or pipeline technology, or other experience that we consider equivalent. You also have experience in construction work. A B driver's license is required for the position. Knowledge of Geosecma and/or ArcMap is an advantage. You are a meticulous, proactive, and service-oriented person with good hospitality towards both customers and co-leaders. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
