About the role

Future People is now seeking, on behalf of our client, an experienced Financial/Investment Advisor with particular responsibility for AML/KYC. The role is part-time at 50%, and you will be employed as a consultant with us at Future People.

Assignment description

As a Financial/Investment Advisor, you will work in a central role where you combine advisory services in investments and finance with the responsibility for ensuring regulatory compliance. You are expected to contribute specialist knowledge regarding AML/KYC and other regulatory requirements, as well as support the organization in matters related to financial compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Financial/investment advisory to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that processes and procedures comply with regulations, e.g., IDD, AML, GDPR, and MiFid.
• Manage KYC and AML processes and follow up to ensure guidelines and controls are adhered to.
• Work with monitoring, reporting, and documentation of regulatory actions.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal compliance and risk management procedures.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in regulatory management within IDD, AML, GDPR, and MiFid.
• Has a background in Compliance or internal audit within the banking and/or insurance industry.
• Has documented experience in controls, monitoring, and reporting of regulatory actions.
• Has knowledge and practical experience of KYC/AML processes.
• Has a good understanding of financial advisory and investments.
