As this position is a summer temporary job, you need to be available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Trollhättan or Uddevalla, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but is often 6-12 hour shifts either day or night. It is common to work every other weekend.

As a patrolling guard, your main task is to deliver security to our customers – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings from fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with a great responsibility. Working hours are mainly at night.

As a stationary guard, your main task is to deliver security to one of our customers by being observant and ensuring that everything is in order. You often work at the entrance of a larger company, checking those who pass in and out, but you may also perform patrols and surveillance. The tasks vary from customer to customer. You work independently and under your own responsibility, often both day and night.

A typical day means that I work stationary, where I handle both reception duties and respond to alarms. We also have other tasks in the area, such as traffic monitoring, guiding, and underground patrolling.”

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license
• You need to be able to complete a guard training part 1, no later than 26/5-2025. (Several training sessions are available, starting from January 2025.)

Meritorious if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have a knack for understanding instructions. We see that you, as an applicant, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and that you are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
