As the position is a summer temporary job, you need to be available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! This position involves only night work, where you will use a car in service.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Gothenburg, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but is often 10-12 hour shifts at night. You will work every other weekend.

As a patrolling guard, your primary task is to deliver security to our clients – mainly at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with great responsibility.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• You need to be able to complete a guard training part 1, no later than 26/5-2025. (Several training sessions are available, starting from January 2025.)

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training

As a person, we believe that you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work tempo. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as a candidate, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and careful approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
