Job Description

Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training before employment.

As a patrolling guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings from fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with great responsibility.

The positions are suitable for those who enjoy working with people and helping them in their everyday lives. As a guard at our office in Gothenburg, you will become part of a close-knit team. The tasks are highly varied and as a guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors. The length of the shifts varies, but they are often 10-12 hour shifts, only night.Since we operate every day of the year, you will work every other weekend.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• Good driving experience
• You need to complete a guard training part 1, no later than 26/5-2025. (Several training opportunities are available, starting from January 2025.)

Meritorious if you

• have previously worked with similar tasks
• have a civilian or military security guard training

You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as an applicant, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
