Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a varied and stimulating environment with many different tasks. The position involves a strong focus on service and customer orientation as you meet our visitors at the reception, you will daily meet people of all ages as we are responsible for swimming lessons for all schools in Vårgårda municipality. You will also be responsible for the daily maintenance of our premises and oversee visitors in the swimming pool. Here you will have an active job where there is always something to do. The position includes a lot of time in the water.

We operate every day of the week, both during the day and in the evening, including some Saturdays.

Qualifications

You should have good swimming skills, being able to swim at least 200m. You have good physical fitness and are capable of performing CPR, lifeguarding, and first aid. You should be able to work in a noisy work environment with high humidity.

It is a merit if you have a swimming instructor certification, CPR and/or water rescue training, or equivalent education. It is also advantageous if you have experience in a similar position. As we are a small work group, we expect you to enjoy working in a team.

Prior to employment, a swimming test will be conducted, and a request for a criminal record extract will be made as work with children is involved.

Other

In Vårgårda municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time. In the absence of full-time assignments, positions can be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
