We are currently seeking an Operations Engineer in data storage who wants to work with the development and delivery of IT services, where secure and stable operations are a top priority. Your main responsibilities will include daily operations, monitoring, and alarm management of infrastructure platforms, as well as driving development within your area. As an Operations Engineer, you will have a varied job with broad responsibilities in a delivery that encompasses everything from data storage and backup, 3rd line support, and system updates. We collaborate with several hardware manufacturers in our environments, which provides dynamic development together with our suppliers. Another part of your job is to continuously work with lifecycle management. You will also have the opportunity to participate in various exciting projects locally and internationally, providing great opportunities for development.

As an Operations Engineer, you will be part of a team, but we also see that you have the ability to work independently with external suppliers as well as colleagues across Sweden and Europe. Responsibilities:

• Data storage and Backup
• Streamlining and automating workflows and systems
• Monitoring and alarm management of infrastructure platforms
• Patching and system updates
• 3rd line troubleshooting for infrastructure issues
• Working on projects for new technical solutions
• Lifecycle management and planning of IT infrastructure

We prefer that you are forward-looking and solution-oriented. We also appreciate that you, as an applicant, are trust-building, both within your own group and towards the rest of the organization. You thrive in change and have a natural drive for continuous improvement. You have good collaboration skills and a humble approach to the people around you. You enjoy collaborating with others and also have good structure in your own work. 

We would like you to have the following skills/experience:

• Broad understanding of IT and data center operations
• Passionate about troubleshooting of varying sizes and complexities
• Understands and embraces high IT security thinking
• A natural team player who understands the importance of collaboration and actively sharing experiences
• Driven, takes initiative, and is self-sufficient
• Has a structured and methodical approach to work
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B

It is meritorious if you have greater competence or certification in one or more of the following areas:

• Experience with virtualization platforms
• Experience with Server OS
• Experience with Networking (switching/firewall/routing)
• Knowledge of IT-related processes and frameworks such as ITIL
