ABOUT THE UNIT

The unit's mission is to maintain, sustain, and develop secure robust IT systems to support the Armed Forces' operational capability. In the section, we are responsible for the management of IT systems in several different areas.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of system administrator for one of the Armed Forces' map and geodata systems, you will primarily work with the management, maintenance, and sustainability of the system. This includes operational IT management, documentation, and ensuring that the IT system meets the Armed Forces' various regulations, primarily regarding availability and security. Work with ongoing cases regarding changes, developments, and troubleshooting, access structure. You will have close dialogue with the developers of the application and the teams, enabling delivery to the end user. You will also participate in the work of developing and reviewing documentation and creating a technical management plan for the system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have relevant education or equivalent acquired knowledge
  • You have experience in developing and driving technical changes for IT systems
  • You have relevant and current work experience as a systems analyst or equivalent, preferably from larger organizations with complex IT systems
  • You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • A driving license (B) is required

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you have work experience and/or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • You have previously worked with GIS systems or geodata systems
  • Development and documentation of management plans, project plans, or other technical documentation
  • Experience in problem-solving
  • ITIL and process-oriented working methods
  • PM3 or other management models

OTHER INFORMATION

  • The position is a civilian permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period
  • Work location: Arboga or Enköping
  • Start date as soon as possible or by agreement
  • In the Armed Forces, the position is referred to as systems analyst.
