Job Advertisement: Support for the Staff Unit

One of the Army Staff's (AST) focus areas is to build the new army. An army that focuses on the army's capabilities in the field and in this, builds new as well as restructures existing units. At the same time, the Army Staff leads units both nationally and internationally. The Army Staff develops and manages the army's combat units and subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools.

The above, combined with the continued establishment of the Army Staff as a cohesive and unifying force, makes the tasks very varied, developing, and dynamic. About the Unit

The Army Staff is continuously developing, as is the support for the staff unit. The staff unit consists of the departments of Executive Support, Security, Expedition, HR, International Relations, Communications Center, and Communication, as well as the functions of IMO, IT, and Finance. The staff department acts as support to the Army Command, the Army Staff's leadership, and other units within the Army Staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Case and information management
  • Receive and forward incoming and outgoing documents
  • Encrypt and decrypt documents
  • Import and export documents between different IT systems
  • Card administration
  • Material service
  • Support within signal protection service

Qualification Requirements

  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Good computer skills
  • Driver's license B

Meritorious

  • Experience in communication service and signal protection
  • Experience in service work
  • Experience in communication work
  • Experience working with classified information
  • Previous service at a Communications Center
  • Experience with the Armed Forces' cryptosystems
  • Trained system operator on relevant signal protection systems
  • Previous service in the Armed Forces or other defense-related activities
  • Completed military service, GU or voluntary organization
  • Technical interest or experience in technical work

You feel a sense of ownership for what you undertake and are a good teammate even in stressful situations. The position is located in Enköping, and the job may involve travel to other locations.

The position is a temporary position for one year starting by agreement, earliest 2026-03-01 to latest 2027-06-30. Start date is by agreement. Work during inconvenient hours may occur.
