About the Unit
FMTIS has a collective responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and management of the Armed Forces' technical command support systems. The systems support military operations at sea, on land, and in the air - in Sweden and abroad. The FMTIS Systems Unit operates in several locations across the country and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of large parts of the Armed Forces' infrastructure for communication, radio, radar, and IT systems. The unit's tasks mainly consist of ensuring that the technical systems have the availability required by the Armed Forces.
Main Responsibilities
The role of production manager means that you are the department's foremost representative in management and are part of the department's management team.
- participate in the department's management team
- respond to the unit's production manager for the department's production
- be responsible for the department's production economy
- lead the department's activities related to system integrity
- process and distribute the department's incoming tasks and assignments related to production
- participate in exercises and operations as the department's production manager
- be prepared to lead meetings at the departmental level
- be prepared to provide support to the unit's staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- post-secondary education in economics, IT, telecommunications, or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
- experience in leadership roles within production management
- understanding and experience in handling classified documentation
- good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
- manual B driver's license

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of management and production management of the Armed Forces' common command support systems
- Knowledge of production economics
- Experience in project management
- Experience in conducting training initiatives within production management
- Experience working in LIFT H-B or equivalent command support systems
- Good skills in editing and managing SharePoint
- Good skills in the case management system VIDAR
- Experience working in a government agency

Travel: The position involves travel both during the day and also for longer periods.

The position involves travel both during the day and also for longer periods. The position entails a military placement, and you will have the opportunity to undergo combat training to handle personal protective equipment. In the Armed Forces, the position is referred to as Systems Engineer.
