About the unit
The Garnison Department at Enköping garrison belongs to the LedR Garrison Unit. In addition to being responsible for the garrison's common resources as well as archive and expedition services and Garrison Command, the unit's main task is to support the production of combat units and other units with its own and provided resources. This is primarily done within the functions of Defense Health, the Guard Company, the Garrison Department, Training and Shooting Ranges, Physical Performance and Sports, Operational Security, and the Infrastructure Department.
Main responsibilities
The IT and Command Systems Officer provides support to all employees at the garrison and involves contact with the Swedish Armed Forces' operational organization (responsible for operations), which requires good IT knowledge. The function constitutes the unit's ordering competence and serves as the backend competence regarding the IT Self-Service Portal and telephone orders.
The function acts as a contact point between the operations and the area of information systems and IT. This includes translating the operational needs into orderable requirements for IT services. It also means translating rules, guidelines, and changes for the area into applicable action rules for the own operations.
You will also work with access administration that occurs at the Swedish Armed Forces workplace (FM AP), Windows operating systems, and SharePoint, but also as a web editor focusing on the development of services on the FM Intranet.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Completed upper secondary education with approved grades
- Have a post-secondary education in the IT field with a focus on server operations and administration or equivalent knowledge that the employer may assess as equivalent
- Driving license B
- Proficient in English in both speech and writing
Personal qualities
You are responsible and proactive with a good ability to drive work forward both independently and as part of a team. The work may also involve supporting other operations within the department and unit. This work requires both professional integrity and pedagogical ability.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability.

- Good operational and IT knowledge regarding the Swedish Armed Forces and knowledge of the IS/IT systems present within the authority.
- Access administration Windows (Folder and file structure).
- Familiar with formal processes and rules for the IT area within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Experience/knowledge of military command support systems
- Basic security protection training
- Trained Rakel administrator
- Trained Rakel instructor

The position is a civilian permanent employment, with a 6-month probationary period applied.
