About the Workplace

We are about 4,500 employees - from nursing assistants, support assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to economists, investigators, and assistance officers who contribute in various ways to ensure that the city's elderly and people with disabilities can live a rich and independent life.

The Nord 2 office is centrally located at Brigadgatan 4 and works with customers living in Drottninghög, Ringstorp, and Fredriksdal. We are a unit that works together to ensure our customers receive the help they need!

Job Responsibilities

As a coordinator, you will work with a variety of tasks. You will, among other things, administer and allocate operations for evenings and understand and work towards a balanced economy and a safe working environment. The job involves various responsibilities, such as working according to the approved quality assurance process within home care according to the Social Services Act, working according to planning processes, documenting in LifeCare, and working in Mina Planer to ensure good collaboration when receiving new customers and discharges from the hospital. The work also involves preparing for various meeting formats where you are expected to have an active, supportive role.

In your work, you will closely collaborate with the unit manager regarding scheduling, monitoring staffing needs, and evaluating substitutes. You will also ensure the staffing planning of substitutes during absences and workload accumulation based on the needs of the operations. Part of your time will involve coordinating the introduction of newly hired employees.

You will be part of a local management group consisting of three coordinators, an administrator, and a unit manager. Together, we work to create the best conditions for our employees in their work.

The position as a coordinator will also involve work out in home care. This may involve planned or unplanned care interventions with customers. The position may include weekend work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has a genuine interest in working with people. Your abilities in logistics, pedagogy, and problem-solving should be evident in the operational work, and you are used to distributing tasks.

We need you to be able to act quickly and effectively, even in challenging situations. The assignment has its challenges, but you will work closely with your two coordinator colleagues. Therefore, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and see development as a natural part of the work so that we can succeed in our mission and grow together.

To proceed in the recruitment process, you need to:

  • be comfortable working with various digital tools and be confident in your documentation skills
  • have basic computer skills and be familiar with the Windows Office package
  • be willing to be delegated and perform delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act
  • have a B driver's license
  • have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with Phoniro, LifeCare, Mina Planer, and Medvind, as well as having experience in similar work.
