Coffee Stain is a creative game company founded in 2010, and since then we have developed titles such as Sanctum, Goat Simulator, and Satisfactory. Today, we consist of 9 companies in the group and are both developers and publishers of games – through our 7 studios and our publishing company Coffee Stain Publishing, which includes titles like Deep Rock Galactic, Huntdown, and Valheim.

We are currently facing an exciting change – over the next six months, we are preparing to leave Embracer Group and instead be listed as an independent publicly traded company. The organization will change, the group will grow, and more companies will join our group, and as part of this, we are now looking to strengthen our finance function for ongoing operations, and therefore we are looking for an accountant.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with experience in accounting who enjoys working broadly and independently. You are meticulous, curious, have your own drive, and thrive on finding more efficient solutions. We believe you enjoy being part of improving workflows and processes – and that you are motivated by working in an environment where a lot is happening.

The finance function is mainly based in Skövde, where you will also have your base. Our office is located in the city center – with a gym in the basement and close to everything.

About the role

As an accountant with us, you will have a broad role where you are involved in several companies within the group. You will have a lot of responsibility but work closely with a supportive team and in close dialogue with other parts of the business.

You will:

• Handle ongoing accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations

• Manage supplier and customer invoices

• Prepare VAT reports and periodic summaries

• Be responsible for monthly and annual financial statements

• Report to SCB and participate in group reporting

• Be involved in issues related to GDPR and sustainability reporting

• Contribute to the development of workflows, routines, and internal processes

• Support the work around our upcoming listing change

We work in Fortnox and Capego. Accounting is done according to K3, while the parent company reports according to IFRS.

About you

• You have several years of experience in accounting

• You are structured, self-driven, and responsible

• You have good knowledge of Excel or similar tools

• You are comfortable with English in both speech and writing

• You thrive in a role where you can influence how we work

It is a merit if you have experience from group structures or growth companies, as well as working with payroll, but the most important thing is your curiosity and willingness to develop.
