We welcome a nursing assistant in Anesthesia to the surgical unit in Trelleborg!

At the surgical unit in Trelleborg, we offer surgeries in orthopedics for adults and children, maxillofacial surgery, ear, nose, and throat surgeries, as well as dental procedures. The department conducts day surgery and inpatient procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you have a very important role in the team. In your role, you will work in the operating room where you assist both doctors and anesthesia nurses in their work. Another part of the job involves preparing and gathering relevant equipment and materials for the current anesthesia, as well as being responsible for cleaning and setting up the room for the next operation.

As a new employee, we offer you an introductory program tailored to your needs, and you will have a mentor to follow. We will develop an individual competence development plan together with you and offer continuous training days and other skill-enhancing training opportunities.

The working hours are 40 hours a week, only daytime, and no on-call duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an approved nursing assistant education with a focus on emergency care/healthcare according to the previous program structure, or alternatively, a trained nursing assistant within the new program structure who has studied all specializations. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. If you have previous experience working as a nursing assistant in the operating room, we consider it an advantage.

You take responsibility for your tasks, have the ability to structure your approach independently, and drive your work forward. Furthermore, you have a responsive and flexible approach - you listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. As a person, you are calm, stable, and controlled even if the situation becomes stressful. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
