Rolling Optics is an innovative technology company that has been developing and producing micro-optical films for secure packaging solutions, documents, and banknotes since 2005. The company develops and produces patented products that are sold to various customers globally. Currently, the company has 24 employees in design, development, production, and sales. They are in an expansion phase and offer good opportunities for development. All operations, from idea and development to production, take place under one roof in their premises in Solna. This generates a dynamic work environment where innovation and collaboration are at the center. 

We at Asta Agency are collaborating with Rolling Optics in this recruitment process. Rolling Optics is now looking for a new colleague to their family-like team, seeking someone with a genuine technical interest who wants to learn more and develop within the process industry. The process is handled through Asta, and you will be employed directly by Rolling Optics. 

About the Position

As a process operator, you will be part of a team responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the production of Rolling Optics' micro-optical films according to the company's production schedule, in consultation with the production manager. The work may be divided into daytime or two-shift work, and you will often work together with another process operator in production. Your responsibility is to ensure that production goals are met and that products are produced with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and minimal waste. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manufacturing and completion of materials according to production planning. • Operator responsibility for all production equipment. • Conduct regular quality checks on manufactured products and printing tools. • Perform ongoing maintenance and service of production equipment. • Conduct ongoing inventory reconciliation and ensure reporting to the production manager is completed. • Participate in development tests for process optimization and qualification of new materials, printing, and coloring techniques. • Ensure that established routines and recipes in the manufacturing process are followed.

Qualifications and Attributes

To succeed in the role of process operator, we see that you as a person have a technical drive and are motivated to take responsibility. You are communicative and responsible, creating good conditions for collaborating with the team as well as monitoring and controlling processes.

Requirements for the Position:

• Completed technical high school diploma, preferably with a focus on process technology, or equivalent experience in a similar role 
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in the process industry or a similar role
• Experience in the printing industry

Additional Information

• Start: Immediately 
• Location: Stockholm Solna
• Scope: Full-time, if you work daytime, the working hours are 07.00-15.30. During periods when work is in two shifts, the working hours are divided Monday to Friday 06.30-15.00 or Monday to Thursday 14.30-23.30 with a rotating schedule. 
• Salary: By agreement
