We are now looking for an Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team in Nynäshamn.

About the role:

As an Operations and Maintenance Technician at Adven, you will work in a very broad capacity. The facility in Nynäshamn is one of the largest and most complex in our operations, which means that the demands on our technicians are also high. You will work alongside 13 other people on site, of which 5 are shift workers. We have a close collaboration with our customer Nynas, to whom we supply steam and water. Additionally, we provide district heating within Nynäshamn and produce electricity for self-sufficiency.

Your main responsibilities:

- Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

- Conduct rounds and report deviations in our maintenance system.

- Optimize operations.

- Perform preventive or emergency maintenance.

- Coordinate or lead smaller local projects together with engineers and leaders.

- Work with and develop our processes.

Your profile:

To succeed in this role:

• We prefer that you have previously worked in process operations.

• You can remain calm under stress.

• You are adaptable as the needs of the day can change very quickly, and it can easily become many tasks at once.

• You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

• Curiosity and a willingness to learn will take you far in your role.

• The position includes shift work and on-call duty with a short response time, which means you need to live within 30 minutes of Nynäshamn.
