We are now taking the next step with Sweden's first OFP robot that records tests for all train types in a completely new wheel lathe facility. Your upcoming role As an OFP Coordinator, you will be responsible for non-destructive testing (OFP) within traffic-related maintenance, focusing on inspections of wheel axles and wheels in our new lathe. Through your work, you create optimal conditions for efficient maintenance production and contribute to ensuring that our trains are safe.

We are facing an exciting development with Sweden's first OFP robot, which uses ultrasound to check the condition of the wheels. You will be involved in building cutting-edge maintenance, where tests are recorded and evaluated for the highest precision. It is a unique opportunity to work with future solutions and manage the entire OFP process.

In this role, you will ensure that testing procedures are always current and updated. You will drive and develop the OFP operations together with other leaders within Traffic-Related Maintenance, while also being a close support for our personnel in the lathe. The work involves wheel axles and wheels for all train types, including our new Delta and Zeta trains.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and be responsible for the OFP control operations within SJ's traffic-related maintenance.

• Be responsible for the group's work with the management of OFP equipment.

• Develop work methods according to SJ's corporate regulations, in accordance with applicable standards.

• Contribute to the development of training materials and training plans and conduct new training sessions.

• Conduct equipment and object-specific OFP training for lathe personnel.

• Support the setup of new or changed OFP maintenance and the acquisition of testing equipment.

• Qualify testing equipment and assist with internal and external audits.

• Perform OFP inspections to maintain competence and personal certification.

• Participate in the maintenance of testing equipment.

Expectations for the candidate We are looking for someone with experience in OFP inspections on railway components, preferably focusing on wheels, wheel axles, and bogies. It is an advantage if you have worked with OFP testing equipment and have a good understanding of the methods. You should be qualified and hold a valid certificate in accordance with ISO 9712 level 3.

The role involves conducting training sessions, making it important that you are pedagogical, unpretentious, and enjoy sharing knowledge openly. You should have previous experience in training and enjoy creating understanding in others.

As you will be a key person between our vehicle management teams, lathe operators, maintenance leaders, and external trainers, you need to have excellent collaboration skills and be able to build trust at various levels. Your competence and commitment contribute to ensuring high quality in our work and developing the future of maintenance.

• Experience in OFP inspections on railway components, preferably wheels, wheel axles, and bogies.

• Good knowledge of OFP testing equipment.

• High school diploma.

• Good knowledge of safety management systems.

• Desirable auditor training.

• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Good computer skills.

• Hold a valid certificate in accordance with ISO 9712 level 3.

• Desirable with EN 16910-1 training/certification.
