Job Description

We are looking for a project quality engineer who wants to take a key role in ensuring high quality in complex integration projects.

In this role, you will work closely with both customers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from early planning to final delivery. The work combines strategic quality efforts with practical inspections, both in production environments and on-site with customers, for example in vehicles or marine environments.

You will be responsible for interpreting and ensuring customer quality requirements, developing and following up quality plans according to applicable standards, and contributing quality expertise in design and project reviews. The role also involves establishing and managing quality documentation, conducting inspections during production and installation, and leading final and delivery inspections together with the customer.

Additionally, you will drive improvement initiatives, manage deviations and preventive actions, and collaborate closely with other quality functions to develop working methods and processes. This role suits you who thrive with responsibility, have a holistic perspective, and appreciate a hands-on approach in varying environments.

Qualifications:

• You have experience in quality work in technical projects, preferably within installation, integration, or industry.
• You have a good understanding of quality standards and processes, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• You have the ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into practical solutions and inspections.
• You have basic knowledge of construction, material selection, and practical assembly.
• You enjoy working in varying environments, from production halls to vehicles or boats on-site with customers.
• You have the ability to inspect cable routings, bend radii, and component installations, as well as handle basic measuring equipment.
• You have good communication skills and confidence in discussing technical issues with customers.
• You hold a driver's license and are willing to travel as needed.
• You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English.

Meritorious:

• Experience with electrical installations and handling of signal/data cables.
• Knowledge of functional testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience in improvement work and quality processes (ISO, Lean, Six Sigma).

You have a strong sense of quality and enjoy working systematically in complex project environments, but also have practical understanding of construction and installation. You are equally comfortable analyzing requirements and developing quality plans as you are stepping into technical environments to ensure everything works as it should.
