Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead both the delivery and operational work within Ramudden's data initiatives, focusing on Snowflake for data storage and Power BI for analysis. The role combines technical expertise and leadership to create reliable, scalable, and business-critical data solutions that support the organization's goals and adhere to established guidelines.

You will work closely with stakeholders and the IT team to translate requirements into practical solutions. The role includes designing data models and pipelines, implementing procedures for high data quality, and ensuring that the entire platform complies with GDPR and other relevant regulations. You will drive continuous improvements, identify automation opportunities, and ensure that documentation and knowledge sharing occur in a structured manner.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of data-related projects and prioritize the team's work

• Administer and optimize the Snowflake data warehouse for performance and scalability

• Develop and maintain datasets, reports, and dashboards using Power BI

• Ensure data quality, validation, and compliance with GDPR

• Document data models, pipelines, and report structures

• Collaborate with IT and business sides to integrate solutions into existing systems

• Serve as a technical escalation point and mentor for the team

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Strong technical competence in Snowflake and Power BI

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and modern integration methods (preferably dbt)

• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with Python

• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a plus if you have:

• Knowledge of agile methods and DevOps principles for data management

• Hands-on experience with data modeling and optimization of data warehouses
