About the AssignmentYou will join a team working with electrical harness design in ongoing defense-related vehicle projects. The environment includes both maintenance and development work, including adaptations for different country-specific needs. The role combines hands-on design with troubleshooting, quality work, and support to other designers.
Job Description- Investigate and respond to PRS requests
- Support and coach other harness designers
- Review electrical documentation and drawings in CATIA and Saber
- Troubleshoot deviations identified on vehicles
- Drive and handle Field Quality issues
- Create and manage changes in OAS, including writing and reviewing ECOs
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
- At least 6 years of experience from automotive and EMC
- Several years of experience with Scania’s electrical system
- Experience from electrical systems typically used for defense trucks
- Strong skills in Saber and CATIA V5 for circuit diagrams, cable harness design, cable routing, and mounting drawings
- Experience reviewing Saber and CATIA drawings
- Experience working with 3DExperience
- Ability to use OAS to create changes in KS and to write and review ECOs
- Fluent English
- Basic Swedish (with an intention to learn)
- Ability to handle large workloads
- Experience from Customized Truck development processes
