About the Assignment

We are looking for an Acting Director to lead a Nordic Real Estate & Facility Management (RE&FM) organization within the energy sector. The assignment focuses on optimizing a Nordic real estate portfolio, strengthening facility services delivery, and providing senior leadership through ongoing organizational and supplier transitions. You will operate in a stakeholder-rich environment with close collaboration across international RE&FM units and internal functions such as Sustainability/Environment, IT, P&C and Finance, as well as with external parties including landlords, tenants, authorities and service providers.

Job Description
  • Manage the Nordic real estate portfolio to improve utilization, footprint (square meters) and sustainability performance.
  • Optimize the portfolio by aligning business demand with available assets, including divestment of non-needed assets.
  • Lead facility services delivery across the Nordic region through established supplier contracts, driving commercial and quality performance.
  • Own and manage interfaces with internal and external tenants, landlords and service providers, acting as an escalation point.
  • Drive demand/supply management for internal RE&FM customers with focus on standards and cost control.
  • Lead the Nordic RE&FM Management Team and ensure stable ways of working.
  • Represent the Nordic organization in the international RE&FM Management Team.
  • Provide senior oversight and steering of ongoing change initiatives and construction projects.
Requirements
  • Relevant academic degree.
  • Broad RE&FM expertise, including real estate portfolio management and FM demand/supply management.
  • Experience with modern workplace concepts.
  • First-hand experience leading organizational change and driving operational efficiency.
  • Documented experience leading teams and leading leaders.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
  • Proven negotiation experience and skills, including experience with different supplier contract models.
  • German or Dutch language skills.
