Job Description

AFRY is growing alongside our customers and is currently looking for an ambitious consulting colleague with experience and interest in investment projects within the industry. In the pursuit of creating a safer and more sustainable world, many large investments in factories and products are currently underway. Project, Control & management (PCM) currently consists of project managers with 0 to 25 years of experience from leading roles in the industry, and most of us are certified according to PMI or PRINCE2. We are all engineers with a genuine interest in technology, but our common drive is the desire to develop within project management and leadership.

Within PCM, we have various roles in project management, project and program governance, and project coordination. Our expertise primarily lies in production and product development. The assignments mainly take place at our customers' sites or in our own facilities.

We currently see a need among our close customers who deliver advanced technical solutions in defense, aviation, and security, focusing on development, manufacturing, and support for the global market.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for someone with 3-15 years of work experience in project management within the industry, preferably from production or product development. You are an engineer, and it is advantageous if you have experience with projects in various sectors, such as automotive, defense, paper & pulp, energy, and similar.

As a person, you are meticulous and driven with a strong technical interest. You want to create successful teams, are motivated to solve challenges together with others, and always contribute that little extra. Your ability to communicate with many different stakeholders in a professional and effective manner is important. You should have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

For many of our customers, a security check and drug test are mandatory, which you must be comfortable with.

Our assignments are usually geographically located within the triangle of Södertälje - Västerås - Uppsala. There is a high probability of carrying out assignments within this geographical area.

For this role, we are looking for someone based in the Stockholm area but who is willing to travel and consider consulting assignments that may involve weekly commuting beyond the previously mentioned geographical area.
