Hasopor AB is now seeking a technical business developer in geotechnics who wants to influence how future land and construction projects are designed. In this role, you will act as a technical partner to clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors. You will be involved early in projects and contribute knowledge about lightweight fill solutions and ground reinforcement, focusing on functionality, economy, and sustainability. The work is independent with great freedom, while you have the support of a knowledgeable and engaged sales team.

Your responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and clients regarding geotechnical issues.
• Provide technical advice on material and construction choices.
• Identify and drive business opportunities through active monitoring of projects.
• Plan and conduct presentations, reviews, and client visits in project environments.
• Work to ensure that Hasopor's products are chosen in relevant projects.

Good to know

The role is flexible and largely based from a home office, with travel required and regular presence at the headquarters in Hammar outside Askersund. You will work independently and be part of Hasopor's sales organization, where collaboration is close despite the team being geographically dispersed. The work involves regular client contact and meetings in project environments.

Our expectations

We are looking for someone with a university degree or master's degree in geotechnics, road and water engineering, or construction technology, or another technical education combined with relevant work experience. You have a good technical understanding of geotechnics, such as ground reinforcement and foundation work, and are comfortable in an advisory role in infrastructure and construction projects.

You likely have experience in conducting technical discussions with consultants, contractors, and clients and can read and interpret geotechnical reports and technical drawings as a basis for solution selection. The role involves working in CRM systems and the Office suite, which requires good computer skills. Experience in design within railways or rail-bound traffic is an advantage. A driver's license (B) is required as the position involves travel.
