The City Planning Office has about 340 employees and we are centrally located in Kungsholmen, about a ten-minute walk from Stockholm Central Station. The administration's operations are characterized by the core values of professionalism, solution-oriented approach, holistic view, and joy at work.

Do you want to help shape how the city's geodata is used and developed?

As a GIS Engineer with us, you will have a varied and important role where you work operationally and drive improvements in our processes in close contact with both colleagues and users.

You will be a key person in the transition to our new geodata platform and ensure that our geodata is accurate, accessible, and usable.

Welcome to us

Geodata distribution is part of the city measurement department, which is responsible for the city's fundamental geographic information and surveying issues related to urban development.

We ensure that geodata is utilized through map and geodata services, data deliveries, management of geodata agreements, and development of automated workflows, for example with FME. We also work with 3D models, both digital and physical, and with long-term information management.

We currently have 14 employees and a unit manager who work closely together. Right now, we are facing a major change where our current technical platform is being replaced by a completely new one. This means new working methods, skills development, and great opportunities to influence how we work moving forward.

We are now looking for a GIS Engineer who wants to be part of this development.

We offer

With us, you will be part of an exciting transformation journey that offers great opportunities to influence. You will also work in a creative and technically skilled unit with a lot of expertise. Within our organization, there are good opportunities to work with innovation and development, and to see concrete results from your work.
