Your new role

We are now looking for a Material Planner / Production Engineer to join a Supply Chain team in a production-oriented environment in Järfälla. In this role, you will be an important part of the collaboration between Project, Production, and Purchasing, with a primary focus on ensuring the right material availability to meet increased production volumes.

You will play a central role in analyzing and developing material planning to reduce lead times, lower costs, and increase efficiency. The work involves close collaboration with several internal stakeholders where you identify areas for improvement and contribute to implementing effective processes and working methods. The role is both operational and development-oriented, with significant personal responsibility.

Your main tasks include:

• Participate in planning future purchasing needs in new development projects

• Optimize and continuously adjust material control parameters for high service levels at the lowest possible cost

• Ensure that the right material is in the right place at the right time

• Identify obsolete or expired materials for disposal

• Review and streamline the entire flow from purchasing to delivery together with planning and purchasing

• Escalate suppliers who do not deliver on time to production

• Optimize and digitize workflows in IFS

• Contribute to the development of the material planner role and working methods

• 3–7 years of experience in material planning, production, or supply chain

• Good understanding of material flows, planning parameters, and supplier collaboration

• Experience working in business systems, preferably IFS

• Ability to collaborate in complex and cross-functional environments

• Personal qualities: You are structured, solution-oriented, and communicative, with a genuine interest in logistics, digitization, and improvement work.
